TICKET PURCHASE AND SALES AGREEMENT

ARTICLE 1: PARTIES TO THE AGREEMENT

2. Natural or legal persons who purchase tickets through tilostravel.com, either directly or through a third party, shall be referred to as 'PASSENGER'.

ARTICLE 2: SUBJECT OF THE AGREEMENT

This agreement contains the rules for passenger and vehicle ticket sales for all international ferry and ship voyages organized, marketed, or mediated by Tilos Travel, and determines the responsibilities of the parties.

The passenger accepts that upon completing the ticket order on the website, they have RECEIVED the ticket and the service in full.

ARTICLE 3: DURATION OF THE AGREEMENT

This agreement is valid until the end of the year following the date of arrangement and electronic approval, and may be extended by new acquisitions of the parties.

ARTICLE 4: GENERAL CONDITIONS

Passenger and baggage transportation is subject to the Turkish Commercial Code maritime provisions, the 1974 Athens Convention rules, and Tilos Travel's standard terms.

A. Use of Passenger Ticket
  • The ticket provides boarding rights only for the voyage written on it.
  • Tickets not used on time are invalid and do not provide boarding rights for another voyage.
  • Those who lose their ticket must purchase a new one.
B. Boarding Procedures
Passengers must arrive at Check-in offices at least 60 minutes before departure, 90 minutes for those with vehicles. Check-in ends 20 minutes before departure.
C. Baggage Rules
  • Passengers may only carry one suitcase or hand bag during the voyage.
  • Registered baggage may not contain money, jewelry, precious metals, passports and documents.
D. Conduct on Board

Passengers must comply with all captain's instructions regarding order on the ship.

E. Pet Transportation

Acceptance of pet transportation depends on the passenger assuming all responsibility for the animal.

F. Voyage Schedules and Cancellations
Full unconditional refund is provided for voyages cancelled due to adverse weather conditions.
G. Refusal of Carriage

Tilos Travel may refuse to carry passengers, vehicles and baggage for security reasons. Transportation of flammable, explosive and radioactive loads under IMDG Code is strictly prohibited.

ARTICLE 5: OBLIGATIONS / CANCELLATION AND REFUND

IMPORTANT: According to the Distance Contracts Regulation dated November 27, 2014, passenger transport companies are exempt, therefore there is NO RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL.
  • Ticket cancellation or credit card refund is NOT provided.
  • Passengers cannot transfer tickets to others or request name changes.
Date/time change or ticket suspension can be done once, up to 48 hours before departure. Suspended tickets are valid for 6 months.

ARTICLE 6: GENERAL TRANSPORT RULES

  • Tickets are personal and non-transferable.
  • All passports must be valid for at least 90 days.
  • Those with TRNC stamps are not accepted to Greece.

ARTICLES 7-9: OTHER PROVISIONS

  • The carrier reserves the right to change fares without prior notice.
  • This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
  • Istanbul Courts and Fethiye Enforcement Offices have jurisdiction.
