the hotel and take a short transfer to the tavern. We settle into our pre-booked

West Island Tour Details
After taking our seats on the
bus, we set off to explore the western part of the island with our Turkish
guide. Our first stop of the day is the magnificent Nea Moni Monastery, a
UNESCO World Heritage Site. Dating from the 11th century to the present day,
this historic monastery, with its impressive Byzantine mosaics and serene
atmosphere, takes visitors on a journey through time. Our guide provides
comprehensive information about the monastery's history, architecture, and its
location on the island.
Anavatos Ruins , perched on a
rocky outcrop . Known as the "Ghost Village," this impressive
medieval settlement reveals the island's dramatic history with its stone
houses, narrow streets, and sweeping Aegean views. It's impossible not to be captivated
by the scenery as we listen to our guide tell the village's story.
The next stop on our tour is
Avgonima Village, which combines the tranquility of nature with stone
architecture. We break for lunch in this charming village, where time moves
slowly. You can sample local specialties at traditional taverns and take short
walks through the village streets to enjoy the idyllic scenery offered by the
stone houses.
North Island Tour
Details
Our first stop is the Windmills,
one of Chios' most iconic sights. Lined right by the sea, these historic
structures offer stunning shots for photography enthusiasts and shed light on
the island's culture. As our guide tells the region's story, we have the
opportunity to explore this special spot to our hearts' content.
Agios, which looks like a
postcard on the turquoise sea We move on to the Isidoros Chapel. This small
chapel, built into the rocks, leaves a deep impression on visitors with its
peaceful atmosphere, views, and story that reflects the spirit of the island.
Lagada Village , famous for its
tranquil harbor and sea-scented streets . We stop for lunch in this charming
town, lined with fishing boats. Enjoy a delicious meal at one of the seafood
taverns, or take a short stroll along the harbor.

South Island Tour
Details
Our tour begins by heading south
from the city center. Our first stop is Armolia Village, where we see mastic
trees up close and hear about the harvesting and production process from our
guide. Famous for its ceramics, the village also hosts workshops where we
sample ceramic products, along with mastic jam, ouzo, wine, and other local
delicacies.
Then we go to Pirgi Village,
famous for its black-and-white patterned houses. We walk through the narrow,
historic streets, see the Church of the Holy Apostles, and visit the Church of
Christ. We visit the house where Columbus is said to have lived. There, we also
have a short break and the opportunity to shop at a shop selling local
products.
Afterwards, we head to Mesta
Village, a village notable for its labyrinthine streets and historic
atmosphere. Accompanied by our guide, we'll learn about the village's history
and visit the Church of St. Taxiaris , the largest church on the island .
During the break, you can relax in the cafes in the village square or continue exploring
the village streets.
The tour's final stop is Mesta
Port. Here, we have free time for a delicious seafood lunch at a traditional
tavern. Then, we'll have a pleasant return journey to our hotel.
